old website inaccessible
-
hi, originally our charity website was managed through wordpress, however, when we moved over to a new design site, we were unable to access articles written on the old site. I’m sure it must still be somewhere as I don’t believe it was deleted, but just don’t know how to access it. I’d be so grateful for any help as we are a small charity (I’m the only employee), and I have no tech skills at all. Many thanks in advance! Sherry

Hi, thank you. The website access address was rhemapartneship.org.uk/wp-admin. The site (rhemapartnership.org.uk) now points to a new site designed using square space.

I have managed to find an archive of your old site:

Thank you, that’s really kind of you. It’s given me some of the information I needed, but not all. I really should have done an export of my entire site – such a clutz, but didn’t really know given I’m not particularly web savvy!

You’re welcome!
It’s always a good idea to keep backups of your site. If you’re using WordPress.com, backups are taken automatically. If you self-host your WordPress site you can use online backup services like VaultPress.
