old website, not WordPress, on another domain

  I have an old website, not WordPress, on another domain. If I map to wordpress.com (a) what happens to the old web pages, (b) can the primary domain be the mapped domain name and (c) will I still receive the email hosted by my domain registrar?

  Hi @kirbyec, will you be mapping the old domain to the new site here?

  If so I would recommend copying your content over first, and setting up your new site. We have a how-to here:

  If the domain registrar hosts the email, we would just want to be sure to copy those settings over so the email will continue working.
