Old WordPress.com blog is mapped to a URL that I no longer own/control
-
I have no idea where to start because the A.I. has me going in circles. Years ago, I created a blog here on wordpress.com and I mapped it to a URL that I let lapse and is now some weird scam site/zombie page in Russian.
I want to reset (or change) the URL to either the default WordPress URL, or to a new one of my choice, but I don’t see a way to do it.
Any guidance is getting this done is/would be greatly appreciated.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there!
I can see what you mean. To connect the domain back to your WordPress.com site, you will want to log in to the domain registrar account and change the name servers to ours. Our guide on that https://wordpress.com/support/domains/change-name-servers/#changing-name-servers-to-point-to-wordpress-com
The domain appears to be registered with Name SRS AB.
If you have any more questions, let me know.

If you let the custom domain lapse and someone else purchased it then you have no access to it. Regarding your WordPress.com site you can connect a different custom domain to it however.
