old wordpress.com blog not redirecting to wordpress.org blog

  I have a very old unused blog from 2012 on wordpress.com. My main site has been on wordpress.org hosted through bluehost since 2013. No one should be able to see the old blog; it should redirect to the newer site, yet people still sometimes see the old blog. How can I fix this? Thanks.

  Hi there, you can set your site to Private as explained here so that no one can see it or get to it.

  We do also offer a Site Redirect upgrade. Typically this would only be necessary for a year. By that time all the search engines should have all the new links.
