old wordpress site url redirect to new wordpress site url when upgrading

    if i upgrade to having my own domain is there a way to have my old domain tiffanydaniellephotography.wordpress.com redirect to my new site since i have that on my business cards?

    Buying a custom domain doesn’t disable the old domain. It’s like having a street address for your blog and then buying another street address for the back door: they both go to the same place. They both continue to work. Whichever one you set as Primary is the one that shows up in the URL bar, but they can get there via either address.
