Yes, it is possible.
To use the classic editor to create posts, go to Dashboard > Posts > Add New
Here is the model so you can see the format
http://INSERT_NAME_OF_YOUR_BLOG_HERE/wp-admin/post-new.phpHere is the link to the page on your blog
http://delfiwebzone.wordpress.com/wp-admin/post-new.phpNote that you can bookmark that link.
To use the classic editor when you edit posts like I do, use the Posts -> All Posts menu, hover over the post title and click the Edit link.
Here’s the list of workarounds all in one place:

Hi @delfiwebzone,
As Timethief mentioned, you can access the classic editor from this page:
http://delfiwebzone.wordpress.com/wp-admin
Just hover over Posts and select Add New from the left-hand sidebar.

All these work-arounds work … I would like to know if future plans will still allow this access to the preferred Classic edit page. Then at least for me … the problem is solved.

The Classic Editor will continue to exist in wp-admin. We know some users prefer to use this editor, so we want you to have access to it, instead of phasing it out with the new version of the Dashboard. However, a link to the Classic Editor will not return to the New Editor. The New Editor without a link to the Classic Editor isn’t user friendly. WordPress should reconsider its position. The New Editor has been a frustration since it was let loose.

And therein lies the chasm between the dictates of WordPress and provision of full customer support. It says a lot.
