older pictures don't load

  I have had my blog for several years now, and moved from web-log.nl to wordpress.com about 2 years ago. All my posts are still there, but the pictures (photo’s) in the older posts (from before I moved to wordpress) seem to have disappeared. They don’t load anymore. This is a real pity, and I hope it can be fixed somehow.

  Your old images were hosted by your old provider (not WordPress.com) so you’d need to contact them and see what has happened. When I try to view one of the images (like this one from this post in 2011) it takes me to sanoma.nl so it might be worth checking with them what changes have happened.

  In the meantime you can try searching for your site on Google, and see if any of the images have been cached. I checked the same post as linked above and it looks like the images had been removed as far back as July this year.
