I need a button at the end of my blogs page so people can visit the previous posts – is there any way to add such a button?

Depending on the theme, there should already be navigation buttons at the end of your blog scroll, and you can set how many posts appear at a time by going to your Dashboard and looking under Manage -> Settings -> Writing. If they’re not there, maybe someone else has some input on that.
However, if you’d like a little more control over how those posts are grouped, you have some other options. There are Widgets you can install that make navigating by date quite a bit easier. Archives Widget That’s probably the most robust solution I can think of. Especially when your blog is larger, being able to jump to certain date is very useful indeed.
I hope this is helpful. If navigation buttons aren’t showing up, that seems like an oversight in the theme design, and something that needs to be addressed. It should be a basic, essential feature.
