Older Posts not Showing Up on Blog
-
Only my recent posts are showing up. Any post past August 2011 are not showing up in my blog and I don’t see the “Older posts” link any more. This was working up to about a week ago and I am not sure what happened.

It appears to be working properly. Since your theme supports infinite scroll, there is no link for older posts. Just scroll down to load new posts.
If that doesn’t work for you, please try clearing your browser’s cache: http://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/

Thanks for your prompt reply. I figured out what is causing the problem and removed it from my CSS file. I had changed the definition of the <hr> tag for my site to give all horizontal lines a certain look (e.g. an orange color). Here was my code in the CSS:
hr {
border:0;
width:100%;
color:#FE9F36;
background-color:#FE9F36;
height:1px;
}It seems that this is the code that stops the older posts from showing up, I guess because WordPress is looking for its default definition of the <hr> tag. As soon as I removed this piece of code from the CSS file, the older posts are showing up now. But it would be nice to have my own custom definition of the <hr> tag and still get my older posts to show up. Any suggestions for a work-around?

Hm, I don’t see how that could possibly interfere.
Would you please add that back and then try clearing your browser’s cache?

I took your advice and put back my code for the “hr” tag in the CSS file, then cleared the browser cache. Everything seems to be working now. Thanks a million for your help!
