'Older Posts' will not load

Yes, that’s the post that’s not showing in the Reader. I am using Win10. The ad blocker is already disabled, it’s white-listed. If the problem was just with my browser I wouldn’t mind, I’d just use a different browser, but what of other people have the same thing happen on my blog? Why am I able to click the ‘older posts’ when trying a different theme? It just doesn’t make sense to me, but thank you for all your help.

My friend used my computer to log into his own blog on WP, and he was able to click the ‘older posts’ on his blog, which has a different theme to mine. This makes me even more certain that it’s NOT my browser, it is the theme that is causing the problem, somehow. Could the problem be caused by the new cookie banner in any way? Is that why I was seeing a black strip across my dashboard? Anyway, thanks you to everyone who has tried to help, I appreciate it, but we don’t seem to be getting anywhere, so I might just change my theme tomorrow even though I really like the theme I have. Thanks.

If you wouldn’t be bothered by temporarily changing your theme, that might be worth a go. Also did you create a new post for the other issue? Send a link (or add the modlook tag) and we’ll work on that.
Lastly, are you dismissing your cookie banner?

I did create a new post for the other problem, the missing post in the Reader, but moments after doing it the post appeared, as if by magic. I have tried the ‘older posts’ with the cookie banner still in place and after dismissing it, but it’s always the same thing, the ‘older posts’ is just not clickable. I have tried different themes and the ‘older posts’ works on them. It’s all very confusing as to why it’s happening and I think my only solution is to change theme permanently which is a shame as I really like the theme I have.
