Olsen Theme – Front Page Carousel not Working

    I’ve done everything that you’re supposed to do – added images according to guidelines, adjusted the image sizes – and still the front page carousel is not working. My front page only shows a tiny black line when I tick the “auto slide on” and that’s where the carousel is supposed to be.

    Any suggestion how to proceed? What should I try next?

    Hi @suunnitteluvirhe,

    https://mussaonhyvaolla.fi doesn’t seem to be hosted by WordPress.com, instead it is using the WordPress.org software on your own server (self-hosted). This forum is for providing support only for websites hosted on WordPress.com

    There are two versions of WordPress – WordPress.com and WordPress.org. You can find more information about the differences between them here.

    I would suggest that you look at the support page of WordPress.org and their forum – https://wordpress.org/support/. If you don’t have an account there you can create one for free here.

    @elizazh    , just because someone has a self-hosted site, it doesn’t mean the self-hosted forums is the appropriate place for them to get help. Olsen is a Premium WordPress theme that’s not listed in the theme directory at WordPress.org/themes, so the users in those forums will not be able to help with this. Support for premium themes are usually provided directly by the theme developer, on the theme developer’s own website, according to the terms under which they sold the theme.
