OMG! I think I just deleted the wrong site!!

Please help me to figure out if this can be undone! I’m freaking out.

What is the exact URL starting with http:// of the site you refer to please?
And, exactly which username account registered that site?
I’m asking because we cannot accurately answer questions posted here until we have confirmed the URL referred to and verified the hosting. And, that is why we are all prompted to provide the relevant URL when we create a new thread.

There was one that was typed wrong and that was the one I thought I deleted.
http://promotrendsandtopics.com (the one I wanted to keep)
http://promotrendsandtopicscom.wordpress.comI’m going to cry!!

You deleted the underlying .wordpress.COM blog URL and you have to have one to be able to domain map from it to a domain URL. It does not have to match the domain URL.

Hi there,
So you inadvertently deleted promotrendsandtopicscom.wordpress.com and I take it you were in the process of mapping promotrendsandtopics.com over to that WordPress.com blog before you deleted it?
As @Timethief mentioned, the WordPress.com URL doesn’t need to match the custom domain, especially since it is going to be masked by the custom domain and no one will see it.
Are you okay with creating a WordPress.com URL similar to the one you deleted (like promotrendsandtopicscomblog)?
Let me know if you were planning on mapping the domain over to WordPress and if that is the blog that you intended to use. Thanks!
