Omit display name in blog post

  • Unknown's avatar

I have 2 active blogs contained in the same log-in account. For posts in one of the blogs, not only is the date posted, but also my display name. A 2-part question: (1) can I change a setting so my display name is not shown, just the date? (2) Is there another setting where I can omit the date, too?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Actually, the blog my question refers to is TheSecondBoom.com .

    Hi there,

The way that your display name and the date are shown in your blog posts depends on the theme you are using for your blog. Some themes do not show your display name, while others (such as the Garland theme on your blog) do.

If you are interested in advanced theme customization, you can use the Custom Design upgrade to make the changes you described. If you have any questions about this, please let me know!

Thanks, and a follow-up question … if I have, say, 3 blogs that I manage from 1 sign-in, do I get just 1 display name that is associated with my account, or can I have 3 different display names, 1 for each blog?
    Thank you!

You only have one display name for your account, so the same display name will appear on each blog on that account. If you would like different display names on each blog, you are welcome to sign up for separate accounts and transfer each blog to its own account by following this guide:
