Omitting Links at the bottom of my blog

  At the bottom of my blog I have: Recent Posts, Archives, Categories and Meta.
  Is it possible to hide these? I want my site to be really clean and I’m not sure how to hide those from my page. Can you help me?

  Go to appearance > widgets and add a single text widget with no title and nothing in it and save. If you have any widgets in the bottom sidebar, remove them and leave only the blank text widget.
