    on all search engines when I type the name of my site there is this message ‘The description of this result is not accessible because of the robots.txt file on this site.’

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi,

    I think that would indicate that you’ve recently had the site’s visibility set on either “Discourage search engines from indexing this site” or the private setting: “I would like my site to be private, visible only to myself and users I choose.”

    It’s not set on private now, but it might have been when Google last crawled the site.

    On your dashboard, under “settings” check out “reading”. There is an option to change your site visibility settings.

    If you don’t have it set to allow search engines to index your site, that could be giving you this result.

    As musicdoc1 indicated above whenever we chose to make a site private during set up this can be the result. However the result will be pushed down in the SERPS (search engine page results) after we publish posts and they become indexed which takes some time to happen. That is why I never ever make my new wordpress.COM hosted sites private during set up.

    Note that it can take weeks for search engines to index content in a new blog and/or to re-index content under a new URL. https://en.support.wordpress.com/search-engines/

    To verify blog ownership of a WordPress.com hosted blog with the major search engines you must use this process > http://en.support.wordpress.com/webmaster-tools/
    Note: Even if you do not verify the blog the content will be indexed by search engines so don’t feel panicky about this please.
