On click opening each widget below sidebar in expanded version

So I have this web design idea http://i.imgur.com/0ybe9o1.png?1

What I want to achieve is first use sidebar in vertical position and then have 3 widgest which 2 of them has information, image so pretty easy and the 3rd one will be coded and not too much editable as I will put reviews and comments.
I want on the click of the panel, to open the same widget just with full information (as shown in the picture, first out of 3 rectangle is the small version of the info below 3 rectangles).

My problem is the I am not sure and maybe don’t have a clear idea, with what I should try to accomplish this task.
I thought widgets are a good idea, but I got stucked at the point where I don’t know how to load a single widget from the sidebar…

What approach would be the most optimal and easy?

WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums.

Be sure to read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/ Get hosting here http://wordpress.org/hosting

You cannot install any custom theme or any third party theme into any wordpress.COM hosted blog and there is no upgrade that changes that. The “add new theme” option does not exist on any WordPress.COM hosted blogs. You are confusing WordPress.ORG software with WordPress.COM hosted blogs.

There is no FTP access and no blogger installed plugin capability on any free hosted WordPress.COM blogs and there is no upgrade you can purchase here that changes that reality.

The only themes we can use on WordPress.com hosted blogs are licensed and adapted to run on our multiuser software the themes are found here http://wordpress.com/themes/ and in your dashboard at > Appearance > Themes

There is no FTP access to free hosted WordPress.com blogs for security reasons and we cannot:
    upload any third party themes,
    create child themes,
    create our own themes,
    edit templates,
    create own own layouts,
or use stylesheets from other themes.

There is no upgrade you can purchase here that changes that reality.
