On my 1 page website, I have a contact form and in the editing mode I added 5 file upload blocks. I can see them in the editing mode but cannot see them in the live preview mode. Is this because the site is not published yet. I do get a message that says site will be published at 9:25pm. Why do I see the file blocks in the edit mode but not in the preview mode?

  Hi there,

  Our contact form block does not have the ability to receive file uploads for security reasons. While it is possible to display a document for download (say you want to include a copy of your terms of service in the form itself) but that is not exactly the same.

  The reason the blocks you have added are empty is because you have not uploaded a file (to the block) so that someone filling out the form can download the document you want them to have access to… which in this case does not sound like what you are trying to do.

  If you want to have the ability to accept files from your site visitors, it will not be possible with our built in form builder, but you can do it by using a 3rd party form tool instead. The following 3rd party form builders have a “file upload” option:

  • Wufoo
  • JotForm
