  Hi there,
  Just beginning a blog and will end up getting the professional annual account, but right now I just want to get all my beginner stuff set up.
  On my main page under each headline it says ‘This is just a short excerpt for the about page.’ or ‘This is just a short excerpt for the contact page.’ and was just wondering how I can remove/ edit these. I’m not exactly skilled with editing computer skills on this matter.

  Hi Jessica – You can edit the text of these pages from your Edit Page Screen. Once you add some original content those messages will disappear.

  I tired that, there’s content on all 3 pages it says stuff on it. It is something to do with the link? or is it just my computer seeing this?

  When I visit http://breakinginvegan.wordpress.com/ I see that you have text posted to the following pages: Breaking In Vegan, About, Contact, and Blog.

  I re-read your original post. And I believe that message is just describing what the ‘headline’ is. It’s giving you an idea of what to say there. Have you tried to delete the message? Or add a headline to each page?
