On my blog, how do I prevent disclosure of my identity and personal details?

    And I have asked this question before. And the responses have invariably been either unusable or incomprehensible. And in my attempt to make a domain private, there seems to be no way to “save” my desire to make the domain private. And in my attempt to delete the domain, my inability to do so is explained in a way, that doesn’t seem applicable to me

    Do you mean you only want your blog to be visible to you or the people you invite to see it? If so, you can change your privacy settings by following these instructions:

    http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/

    If instead you mean you want to keep your domain registration details private, you do that by adding the Private Registration upgrade to your domain. All but one of your existing domains with us already have this upgrade. You can add private registration to the remaining one here:

    Just click the “add private registration” link and follow the instructions.
