On My Own But With .com instead of .org

In the most expensive plan I notice you never stated anything about uploading my own themes and PLUGINS. Why is this? I always switch up my themes so what can I get to do so. And plugins are a must for my favourite customizations. What abut the $13 plan? Can I upload my favourite plugins and themes as well? Finally, can you explain the $13 plan? How much is the fee per month for domain and how much do I pay for the web hosting?

    Hi there,

In the most expensive plan I notice you never stated anything about uploading my own themes and PLUGINS. Why is this?

Adding plugins and uploading your own themes is a feature of self hosted WordPress.org sites, not WordPress.com sites. The differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org are explained here:

    WordPress.com vs. WordPress.org

On WordPress.com, themes can be activated from our Theme Showcase:

    https://theme.wordpress.com/

I always switch up my themes so what can I get to do so.

You can switch themes as often as you like on WordPress.com. Check out support document for more information about themes:

The Business plan gives you access to unlimited Premium Themes too!

And plugins are a must for my favourite customizations.

In order to install plugins, you will need a self hosted WordPress.org site. Which features do you want to use plugins for? I’ll see if I can find an equivalent feature on WordPress.com.

Finally, can you explain the $13 plan? How much is the fee per month for domain and how much do I pay for the web hosting?

We don’t have a $13 plan; our cheapest paid plan is the Personal plan. It is billed in one yearly payment and includes a domain credit which you can use to register a new domain or map one you already own:

WordPress.com sites are fully hosted (even on the free plan), so you don’t need to set up your own hosting.

Let me know if you have any questions.
