On my wordpress.org website I'm trying to set up static home page and blog

Static Blog page doesn’t work. On my site http://www.closdesguyons when I try to set up static Blog page under settings – reading the link to the Blog page ceases to work.
The actual page entitled “Blog” has a 301 redirect to my Blog site http://living-in-the-loire.com/ and I am using the Goodlayers “Blue Diamond” theme.

Hello there! Technically, your issue is with a self-hosted site, and you haven’t reached the correct support team. However, before you move on to http://wordpress.org/support/, I’d like you to try something.
Please clear your browser’s cache and cookies according to these guidelines:
Then, take a look at your site in your browser, refreshing the window before clicking on your blog link.
This may do the trick. If not, because your site is self-hosted with a different provider, support staff at WordPress.com do not have access to your site’s files or the ability to provide support for your current issue.

It was just that I found the thread on an internet search which led to me clicking for further help. I appreciate your reply and I’ll try it although I have tried removing the cashe before.
