    Can I migrate without paying for the 25/300 per year option?

    I can’t download a plug-in to migrate without the 300 option?

    1. My original site was made with wordpress.
      • It’s on another server
      • I now have a premium wordpress package. (8 per month)
      • Is there a way to transfer without having to buy 25/300 subscription?
      • I’m keeping the domain name and content.

    Hi there,

    What is the address of the site you are trying to migrate content from? I visited nlfireland.ie but did not see it there. Is your existing content at a different URL instead? Are you working from some kind of “backup files” you have for the site instead?

    We currently offer two kinds of migrations:

    1. Import a site’s contents: This is a move of the pages, blog posts, uploaded media, comments and other content that you have on the site. The theme (design) and any plugins you have on your previous site cannot be brought over this way, but once your contents are here, you can set it up again using any of our in-house themes. For sites on our Free, Personal, and Premium plans, this is the only option we offer currently. More info here: https://wordpress.com/support/import/import-a-sites-content/
    2. Import an entire site: This the “migration plugin” option where you install our plugin on your current site, and with a few clicks an exact copy of the site is moved to our WordPress.com managed hosting. This includes all content, plus the themes and plugins you are using on that site, and will look and act exactly the same. This is not available as an option on our lower plans, so to use this method you will need our Business or Commerce plans and then you will be able to proceed: https://wordpress.com/support/import/import-an-entire-wordpress-site/
