One API key for all my blogs or a different key for each blog?
-
i am not certain how API keys work, so here is my question…
i have several blogs.
do i use the same API key for all my blogs?
or does each blog require a distinct API key?
thank you!The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You can use the same API key for multiple self-hosted WordPress.org blogs, as long as you want to share the WordPress.com account associated with them.
-
with one API key will each blog have distinct stats?
one API key does not mean all stats will be combined? -
Correct, one API key does not mean all stats will be combined. Each blog using a single API key will have its own separate and distinct stats.

Maybe the support documentation could be “adjusted” by Staff to improve clarity re: the information found in this thread.
