One blog with only one place to go?
-
Obviously, there’s a difference between a “reply” and a “post” because when I create a new post, it stands alone. What I’m trying to do is have one blog with only one place for comments where I can read everything that is posted without going to another location.
I don’t have enough people reading my blog to worry about categorizing replies.
I am not very happy with your layout. If is far from user friendly.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

And while I’m asking … How do I select tags for posts?
I went to the dashboard, selected the desired post and chose the grammatically-challenged “insert more tag” but all that did was show the post. I keyed the title of one of my tags there but that only succeeded in showing the tag as post text.
I repeat: WordPress is not user friendly. When my
- paid for
subscription ends, I will not renew.

And why when I’m invited to share a post on Facebook and do so (“http://retsinabinthegrove.com/2014/01/15/93/
RETSINABINTHEGROVE.COM
This is one of those dreary, chilly, damp, cloudy winter days that tend to make spring seem impossibly far away. But as we all know, it will soon enough be here. And I have plenty of reading material…),I’m then told that this could be shared?

Howdy,
Let’s take one thing at a time.
On your blog (e.g. site), you can have multiple posts. Each post is an independent “thought” or “piece”. Each post can receive comments (though you can disable that). This allows the conversation between you and your readers to stay “on topic” for each post.
All of your comments can be read and managed through the Comments section of your dashboard at https://retsinabinthegrove.wordpress.com/wp-admin/edit-comments.php .
Does that help with managing your comments?
Next, tags.
The “Insert More Tag” button is to, literally, add what’s known as a “More Tag” within your post. You can read more about it at the link. Tags, as are most commonly used, can be applied by using the tags metabox, which is to the right and below your post editor (e.g. http://retsinabinthegrove.wordpress.com/wp-admin/post-new.php?post_type=post ). On the right, you’ll see the box that allows you to publish, then to add categories to the post under that, and then to add tags under that. You can type a tag in the box—if you already have a tag that begins with the same letters, it’ll suggest that. If you don’t have an existing tag, it’ll add it once you click “Add”.
Next, Facebook.
What error message are you seeing? I was able to share that post to Facebook using the Facebook button at the bottom of your page.
Are there any other questions I can answer for you? Have you seen our http://learn.wordpress.com site?
Thanks!
