One Lovely Blog Award

  I’ve been nominated by several people for the One Lovely Blog Award, but always ignored it because it seems uncomfortably like a chain letter kind of thing. Does anyone have any experience with the award? Is it worthwhile? Bogus? What’s the deal?

  It’s my experience that those bloggers who present awards to others tend to be new to blogging and they tend to participate in blog memes for two reasons because
  (1) they sincerely admire the blog they award;
  (2) they are caught up in backlink schemes without even being aware of it.
