One media library, two blogs

Is it possible to have two separate blogs drawing from the same media library? I was hoping to do a lot of cross-posting to a second blog, but having to create a new library and copy all the images over to it will be a huge hassle. I was hoping I could just copy and paste, but that doesn’t work. The primary blog is piedtype.com. The second one is everwild.com.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi @windwhistle, unless you want to keep the sites entirely separate, have you thought about reblogging the post from piedtype to everwild?

I thought about reblogging, but it doesn’t pick up the entire post and all its images, and it just refers people back to PiedType. I’d hoped I could just copy and paste the entire text page, since it includes the complete URL for each image, but that doesn’t work. It drops the images.

Yes, but that only includes part of the text and then refers the reader back to PiedType. I was hoping I could just copy and paste text pages, since they include the complete URLs for the images, but that doesn’t work either.

Sorry about the duplication. The first comment was very slow to post.

Yes, but it does avoid the duplicate content issue.
