One of my posts doesn't appear!

  I hope you can help; I posted a gallery entitled Woody and it is not on the homepage, why not?!

  Hi,

  There is a portfolio project titled Woody, with the URL https://mettleandpearls.wordpress.com/portfolio/woody/. Your homepage, which is the blog or posts page, will display only posts. Did you also have a post titled Woody? If so, then please provide the URL of the post here.

  Hi, thank you for your response; I am confused now about the difference between portfolio posts and blog posts? I think I opted for portfolio so the images would come up as a grid, but they do in blog posts too. It also doesn’t make sense to me to post in a portfolio unless I add a portfolio tab so people can click on that and view the portfolio posts. Is adding a portfolio tab on the homepage possible?

  I am confused now about the difference between portfolio posts and blog posts?

  You can think of Portfolios as a separate kind of content for your site – So you can have a page listing Posts, which are separated in to different categories, and then you can have a different part of the site for Portfolio Projects, which are grouped into project types.

  If you don’t need those two different sections, you can stick with standard posts (since it sounds like they’re presented the way you want to see them).

  Is adding a portfolio tab on the homepage possible?

  Absolutely. You can add a custom link to your menu from My Site > Menus, and point it to this address:
