One of my readers can't comment on my blog.
-
Hi there!
One of my readers emailed me because she tried to comment on my blog and it didn’t work. According to her, this happened for several posts. She typed in her email and website, and when she hit ‘publish’ it said “You are being asked to log in because (her email adress) is being used by an account you are not logged into now. By logging in you’ll post the following comment.” But the thing is she doesn’t have a WordPress account, so this is confusing.
Thanks for your help!

We only require commenters to login if they have a WordPress.com account. Could you please ask her to request a new password over here so she can see what the username is of the account that’s been registered under her e-mail address?

This happens to me all the time when I try to comment on WP blogs, even when I’m logged in to my account. It just keeps telling me that my password is wrong. I’d love to know what the problem is because when I posted on this forum I got no response at all beyond an automated message that had nothing to do with the issue I was posting about.
