One page with the same post over and over

    Hello- I don’t understand why it looks like I only have one page with the same post there several times. But then when I get a link for a different post (I have published about 8), I can get to it, but only with the link. Otherwise if someone comes to my blog, there is nowhere to see all of my others posts besides ‘I Can’t Run in My Dreams.’ I cannot figure out how to change this, as I even tried deleting that post and it’s still this way.

    Hi there,

    I noticed when I look in your list of blog posts here, I do not see ‘I Can’t Run in My Dreams.’ listed anywhere. If it was a blog post it would show up here in the above, listed with your other posts

    Instead, it appears that you added that text into the “index template” which is not normally where a blog article would be written directly: https://minimallymichele.wordpress.com/wp-admin/themes.php?page=gutenberg-edit-site

    In this case, the text and image you added there is causing the template to act oddly, and show the content over and over again.

    To fix this you can:

    • Copy your text out of the template view, and paste it into a new blog post instead: https://wordpress.com/post/ This will save your content as a post, so that we can reset the template.
    • Once you have copied that content into a new post, you can reset your index template, which is the template that controls the display of blog posts on your site. Video of how to reset your index template at this link: https://d.pr/v/RWm3LC
