One post attracts spam comments

Why is one of my posts attracting so much spam? It is this one post, http://feedingtimeblog.com/2009/11/06/apple-cake/ .
Is there something in there that’s attracting spam comments? If so, what is it – can I remove it?

Hi Lara,
There’s nothing in that post that stands out to me. Likely, it is just a relatively popular post and spammers are hoping to slide in through a comment to get to a larger audience. As long as our spam filter is catching it, there’s nothing to worry about.
If you’d like to close off comments completely for that post, you can do so by editing the post and looking for the “Discussion” section, then unchecking the options and saving the post. If you don’t see a “Discussion” section, you can enable it using the “Screen Options” tool in the top-right of the page (screenshot of where to look: Screen Options)
