one post getting more traffic than the other posts

I’ve just started a blog and one of my posts is getting more hits than the others–I’m curious about this because I just got a hit on that post without a hit on the home page. My question is, how reliable are the stats? Do they gliche ever? I’m just curious because either someone is real interested in that particular post (which I think is the least interesting of everything that I’ve posted) or my stats are gliching somehow. Does anyone know whats going on?

To be more explicit, how is it possible to get a hit on this post without first getting a hit on the home page? The number of hits this post has been getting tells me maybe there’s a gliche or something…

Any number of ways – search engines, tag pages, bookmarks, emails, etc.
Generally, direct hits on posts are more common than people landing on home pages.
