One post is always visible on home page

One of my posts (“Crawling Through Landmines”) is always visible on my home page. Why is this, and how do I fix it?
Also, can I rearrange the order in which my posts appear? I am posting some older journal entries, and would like to post more, but I don’t want them to be out of order. Thank you for any help you can give me with these issues.

Hi,

https://deirdremorrison.wordpress.com/crawling-through-landmines/ is not a post. It’s a static page. The default menu displays the homepage and static pages. A couple of ways you might solve the problem:
1. Create a post with the content that is presently in the page, using copy and paste.
2. Create a custom menu, and leave the page out of the menu. Then activate the custom menu, replacing the default menu. -
Also, can I rearrange the order in which my posts appear? I am posting some older journal entries, and would like to post more, but I don’t want them to be out of order.
Yes. You can change the publish date and time of any post. This allows you rearrange post order as you wish.
