One-topic blog and tags
-
If a blog covers one basic topic, but the posts are on subtopics, should you use the “main” topic as a tag on every post? For example a recipe site – every post is a different recipe and is tagged as soup, starter, main according to what it is. But should every post also be tagged with “recipe” – or is that the global tag?

Every blog at WP.com has a default category. If you don’t choose one, the default category is “Uncategorized.” You might as well make a category for the main blog topic and then set that as your Default under Settings.
