One year free benefit with plan

  On switching to a paid plan, do i enjoy this benefit immediately? For instance, if i’m on a plan, does my subscription start reading after the one year free benefit or before?

  Upgrades at WordPress.com are charged annually in advance. So you’d pay immediately not in a years time. It is just a custom domain that is included free for the first year once you’ve paid for the plan.
