  I intend to write a blog to record the building of a new house. Should I continue to edit the original post or add a new post each time I write up?

  If I were you I would do a new post every time you have something to add.
  If you do a single post, by the time the house is finished that one entry will be so huge I doubt anyone would read it all the way through! :)

  I also expect that a single entry format would end up quite confusing as there are so many different aspects to a build. If you post about individual events or descisions it would be much clearer.

  Good luck with whatever you choose to do.
