Ongoing IE8 iNove drop down problem

  Navigation drop-downs are still not working in IE8 as previously reported on these forums https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/inove-menu-dropdown-not-working-in-ie-works-fine-in-ff-and-chrome?replies=2#post-611200

  Any news on this?

  (The problem can be seen in this blog http://crossfiteverett.com/ see Featured athletes (as my own blog is hidden)

  Hi mattlingard,

  I visited http://crossfiteverett.com/ in IE8 and IE7 on Windows 7 and drop-down menus appear to be working just fine. I also tested the menus in compatibility mode. What do you see when you try to view the drop-down menus?

  It’s not working on IE8 for me. I’m using XP, perhaps that’s the difference?? Unfortunately many of the PCs at my organisation are XP + IE8 but it’s good to know Win7 is OK.

  … and I meant to say… I don’t see any drop-down when I hover over a menu option that has sub-pages.

  I have likewise viewed this blog using IE8 and I cannot detect any abnormality with the display or with the drop downs under “Featured Athletes” from the menu bar. They work well for me.

  Hi mattlingard,

  Thanks for the screencast and information. Unfortunately, I don’t have access to a machine with Windows XP so I can’t test it on my end. However, I have updated our report of this issue with your new information so that we can look into it some more. I’ll keep you posted.

  I too am having the same problem in IE 8. My wordpress page has dropdown sub nav that works fine in Firefox but does not work at all in IE8.
