Online impersonation

For the record, in most countries the deliberate impersonation of an existing person online is a crime. In Canada, it is a criminal offence and a violation of the laws against stalking. It is treated very seriously. I’ve had the police in New Zealand call on a woman for this, and if she hadn’t had a baby at home she would have spent at least one night in jail waiting to see if the prosecutor would lay charges.
Actions such as those described in this thread https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/who-changed-my-username?replies=48 are not only abusive and likely in violation of the Terms of Service, they are illegal.

Racism is also a crime, which that troll on the Off Topic forum has been doing. You would think these forums would be better moderated too be honest.

Yep. It’s quite clear the other troll is NEVER going to set up a blog and the only way to get rid of it is to ban it from the forums before it leaves a fake suicide note. Which it will.

I also gave TimeChief a warning that their forum privileges will be revoked if the impersonation continues
@TimeChief I seen the same avatar represented as TimeThief’s avatar via your account earlier as well your username link to TimeThief’s website, so it’s very obvious you were causing false representation of TimeThief in the Forum Threads you responded to… If the impersonation continues from here on you will have your forum privileges revoked… Count this as your only and final warning like Tess, said it’s against the forum code of conduct…
