  Hi all. As you may have noticed there are a lot of cycle buy swap sell pages on facebook. I do not think this should be right given that it divides the people and often there are scammers taking advantage of people’s trust.

  So my question is. Would I be able to create an online trading place on wordpress? Allow people to create accounts using their facebook account and have all transactions payments go through me so that no one will be scammed.

  That isn’t something that is supported at WordPress.com.

  If you are wanting to accept and process payments you’d want to look in to hosting your own WordPress.org install or Automattic’s VIP hosting (https://vip.wordpress.com).

  Ah I see. I think the payments thing is an optional extra. I just wanted to know if wordpress could support something like this before I paid for the service.

  I basically want to set up a eBay shop for cyclists without the bullshit transaction fees.
