Online Shop on HARMONIC theme

  I want to ask if it´s possible somehow sell my stuff on my harmonic theme as has this guy here: http://phdavies.co.uk/book-shop/ or some other way.

  There are two options for ecommerce here: Using the Paypal Buy It Now button OR buying the $299 business upgrade and installing a Shopify or Ecwid store. I’d recommend using the Paypal button and just making posts and perhaps using a portfolio. Be sure and use the Paypal instructions that are specific to WordPress.com; you’ll find them here http://support.wordpress.com/

  Raincoaster, wouldn’t it also be possible to do it the way the P.H.Davies site does? He just seems to have a link to Amazon for each of his (print) books, a customer would click from the blog but do the actual buying on Amazon.

  Yes, you can do that if you’d prefer to make 6% rather than 90% on your books. Note that you can use affiliate TEXT links, but not affiliate IMAGE links.

  Thanks for the paypal ‘buy now’ info, raincoaster! A couple (?) of years ago when I was looking into putting a paypal button on my wp site, I had the impression that the only one we were allowed to use was the Donate button…
