  Hello. I’m trying to make my entire blog inactive for public view while building the pages. Under settings-> reading, the ONLY option is “Discourage search engines from indexing this site”. The options to make it private are not there, as stated in the forums.

  Please help! Thank you :)

  What is the real URL of the site you need help with?

  If you have a WordPress.ORG install, you will not have the Private option and need to get help at WordPress.ORG to get help
