Only allow followers to see part of post in email?

  Is there a way to set the email followers get to only show part of the post instead of the whole post in their email? We want to see who is actually reading the posts and can’t do that if they aren’t forced to go to the page.

  Can we show just the title or show a short blurb only?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Yes there is. Go here > Settings Reading and select “summary” for your RSS Feed setting
  Syndication feeds show the most recent items
  For each article in a feed, show
  _Full text
  _Summary
