Only displaying posts that exist in the multiple categories selected

I am trying to set up my blog so that when a link is clicked it will display posts relating to two categories. However I only want posts that are assigned to both categories, not posts that are assigned to just one of the two selected.

So for example I have a post assigned to category 1, a further post assigned to category 2, and finally one assigned to both category 1 and 2. I only want to display the third post. Is this possible?

Is this blog hosted at WordPress.com or elsewhere? They’re two different kinds of software, and we can only provide answers for WordPress.com blogs; we don’t know the answers for the others, although WordPress.org forums might.

It appears you have linked your wordpress.com username to a blog that is not hosted by wordpress.com. That means it’s either a self-hosted blog or it’s web hosted elsewhere. In either case we cannot help you. And it gives me pause to wonder why you posted to this forum. If you have downloaded a free blog template from wordpress.org then that’s where you should go for support http://wordpress.org/support

My appologies. I did not realise wordpress.org and wordpress.com were seperate entities. Thanks for the quick response though. I’ll check out the forums there.
