Only one Facebook page showing when connecting
-
I am trying to connect a different Facebook Page to Publicize but only 1 of my ~5 Pages and my personal profile are shown as options when trying to connect my Facebook Profile.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
-
Have you tried using the instructions in this support doc Facebook Profiles & Pages https://en.support.wordpress.com/publicize/#facebook-profiles-pages?
-
I will also type modlook into the sidebar tags on this thread for a Staff followup. How do I get a Moderator/Staff reply for my question? https://en.support.wordpress.com/getting-help-in-the-forums/#how-do-i-get-a-moderatorstaff-reply-for-my-question
-
Thank you for that. Yes, i followed those steps but it won’t let me “Connect a different account”
My options when i click that are still my personal profile and my one page that i connected awhile ago (that i dont use anymore)
-
Will you please provide all the URLs involved here so when Staff login to this thread they have information to work with?

Hi there,
Does the Facebook page belong to the same Facebook account for which you already have the profile connected? If so, you won’t be able to add the page – it is not possible to connect both a personal profile and a page managed by the same account to the same site with Publicize.
If you do need to have both the profile and the page connected, you’ll need to use a different Facebook account that’s an admin on the page to add a connection for the page to your site.
Please do not refer users to the self-hosted WordPress forums for Publicize issues. The general WordPress.org forum has no ability whatsoever to assist with WordPress.com features added to a site via Jetpack. An alternative would have been the Jetpack forum at https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/jetpack

Thank you @kokkieh
When trying to connect my site (blend4.com), it shows me two options: my personal profile and another one of my pages that i had connected to Publicize (which I no longer use)
I’d like to just disassociate my old Page (that is no longer used) and associate blend4.com instead. Both pages are linked to my personal profile.

Without a doubt, after many years of sending wordpress.ORG software users to the wordpress.ORG support forums, the advent of dealing with any wordpress.ORG issues at all here in the wordpress.COm support forums has left me confused.

Mornin’ folks :)
jcpacelli – can you help me by answering this question?
1.
Does the Facebook page belong to the same Facebook account for which you already have the profile connected? -
-
Hi @jcpacelli, so it does show some pages, just not the one you’re after?
I just tried connecting mine and it’s showing all of the pages where I am an admin.
Can you confirm you’re hoping to connect to a page rather than a group?

Thanks. Make sure you are an admin (not an analyst, etc) on those pages.
You might also want to check your connection here:
https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=business_toolsClick on Edit. Make sure you can “show a list of the pages you manage” and make sure the individual pages aren’t blocking us. You can also remove and reconnect if needed.
