Only one post on homepage
-
Hi there
I am currently using the ‘Morning After’ theme for my WordPress blog.
Each time I create a new post it is published on the homepage, but my homepage is only showing one post at a time (the most recent one). I want it to show all of my most recent posts. I have gone to Settings>Reading and changed the number of posts on the page to 10, then to 100 just to see if it solved this problem and it has not.
I have messed around with various widgets and this has not helped.
I have loaded a different theme and this has listed all of my posts on the homepage so is it a problem with the theme?
Please help! Apart from the ‘Recent Posts’ widget there is no other way to see my posts and I would like them all listed on the home page.
Thank you!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

That is the way morning after works. It is sort of a mostly manual theme. To get additional posts to show on the main page, you have to manually mark them as sticky posts. Then when you create a new post, you have to “stick” that one and then “unstick” the oldest one.
You will either have to do the manual bit of setting your posts to sticky and unsticky or you will have to switch themes.

Yes, after reading the theme details a minute ago I think I just realised this – why would they do that!? Urgh.
So I can have my most recent post on the front page say, and then have to ‘stick’ all of the others so they are listed on the same page…?
Not really what I was looking for. I don’t suppose you have any suggestion as to a similar theme to Morning After which does allow the usual post feed front page format?
Thank you so much for your help as well, a very prompt reply! :-)
Thanks

Yes, that is right, you would have to stick any other posts you want on the main page. It is an odd theme and I’m sure that some find it works just fine for them, but for normal blogging, well, not so much.
You are welcome.
