Only one widget will show up in sidebar?

I have two widgets in my sidebar, links and pages(only for my about page). But when I view my blog only one or the other shows up. Why cant I have both if they both are there while editing?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Yes I added 5 or so links. And then I added the about page and now the links wont show up in the sidebar.

But did you add the Blogroll/Links widget to the sidebar, or did you just add links in the ‘Links’ section on your dashboard?

Did you assign category links to the links you added at links > add new?
Go to links > edit and click on the titles of the links to open them for edit and make sure that things resemble this: http://opposablethumbz.wordpress.com/files/2009/09/links.png .

Yes all of the links are in a category. Everything looks like that picture except for instead of the category being named ‘links’ its ‘spotted sites’ But that shouldnt make a difference, should it?

Okay I figured out what I was doing wrong. I feel stupid now. I has them in the right category but I didnt have that category selected in the mini edit menu in the sidebar.

You’re welcome and thanks for posting the solution for others as well. I hadn’t thought of the selection in the widget.
