Only web site title in italics, not the other headlines?

    How do make only the web page headline/title “Didymos Bokförlag TEST” in italics, without making all headlines on subpages in italics?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi @didymos1980,

    There is not a separate setting to make the site title text a different format than other headings. There are a few options here to proceed:

    1. You can use custom CSS code to override the default them styles and format the site title separately. This requires the WordPress.com Premium Plan but we can help with the code you need. If you upgrade let us know!
    2. You can use the logo setting in this theme. To do that create your site title as a graphic (like in Photoshop or another image editing app) using a .png file with a transparent background. Then you can upload it as your “logo” and hide the computer generated site title instead.

    Hi Jerry,

    I am a premium member already. I just use this site “Didymos Bokförlag TEST” as a test site. The premium one has domain name didymos-bokforlag.com . I’d prefer if you could show me how to format the site title separately using CSS. Thank you so much!

    Hi there,

    First, go to the Fonts section in the Customizer and change your style for headings back to Regular.

    Then go to the CSS section in the Customizer and paste in the following:

    /* Make site title italic */
p.site-title a {
	font-style: italic;
}
