    I don’t want this to be my domain name. I haven’t paid for it yet, but I already received an email saying this is my domain name and it is attached to my account.
    I would like to assign a domain name later after I build my site. Can you help with canceling this domain name?

    You can work on a free site with whatever address.wordpress.com. When you’re ready you can upgrade the site to a paid plan and register, connect or transfer a custom domain address to the site.
