oops Chrome cannot connect

  For the last few days, since I downloaded Windows 8.1, I get “Oops Chrome cannot connect” when I try to log into my sites. When I do actually make it in, I can’t download images. Anyone having the same problem? Know how to fix it?

  Are all of you using Windows 8.1? I dragged out my old computer (Windows 7) and no problems whatsoever. Thinking it’s gotta be Windows.
