Oops! That page can't be found.

When people go to our website, instead of the latest blog opening up they get a message “Oops! That page can’t be found. It looks like nothing was found at this location. Try a search.” If you try a search you get the same.
When logged in in admin the blogs all show up fine. Have changed one of the posts to a page and set it as a static page so that there is something for people to read. It is working.
The site has been operational now for a couple of years and working. All of a sudden it has stopped. Deactivated some new plugins but nothing has changed.
Any suggestions as to why this has happened and what may need doing to fix would be greatly appreciated.
I have looked through the forums but have not found anything.

    Hi there,

Your website is using the open-source WordPress.org software, you need to seek assistance from their forums which can be found at:

    https://wordpress.org/support/forums/

These forums are for WordPress.com hosted websites. If you want to know the difference between the two, you can find more information in this document:

    WordPress.com vs. WordPress.org

    Best regards

Thanks for the advice. I had tried .org but it would not let me login and then saw that we login through .com so thought I must have to go through .com.

    Will try .org again.
    Thank you
