Oops, your invite is not valid

Hey there,
If you all are still experiencing issues with inviting users, let me know. I am contacting those who have been working on the invitation system internally about the issue. There was a glitch that occurred two weeks ago while they were working on the system, but from the sound of things, everything should be resolved and all you need to do is resend the invite. If that is not the case, I’ll get in touch with them and report the specific errors that you all are receiving.

I deleted the invite and re-invited and comes to the same end. -

Ah, when you’re trying to accept the invite in the e-mail, are you logged in as guyonyus or as pguyony? You must be logged in as guyonyus when accepting the invite – I would imagine you would receive that error if you’re not.

I’m having a similar issue. I’ve even sent myself an invite to the blog and clicked on the link and gotten an invite is invalid response.

Have you attempted canceling your initial invite and resending it? If you have, let me know and I will take a look. Thanks!

I have also had problems with this same issue. I have canceled invites to viewers and resent them, but still get the same “oops” message. Any suggestions?

What are the usernames/e-mails of the users you are inviting? I can try from my end and see if I receive the same error From what I see here, three invites are pending. Did you receive errors when sending any of those invites?

Those invites are ones where I received error messages, so those are the addresses I am trying to reach. Any help would be appreciated.

I logged under your account and was able to resend the pending invites without receiving an error. Let me know if any of them are approved by the user.

I just got an email from the account, asking me to join and it still says that the invite is invalid.

You received that error because you are already following your own blog. The other pending invites should be good. If you are able to contact the users and see if they can accept the invite, everything should be good to go.

I talked to the staffer who has been working on the invite glitch and he’s going to take a look at why the invites are invalidating. He’s going to follow up with me tomorrow and I’ll provide you an update then. Thanks!

I gave all information, email is (email visible only to moderators and staff).
There is no account associated, here your system should direct to the “sign on” page instead of “oops…”
